Aterciopelados

Aterciopelados are the most emblematic band of Colombian rock. Their classics include "Florecita Rockera," "Bolero Falaz," "Maligno" and "El Álbum." Andrea Echeverri and Conector have journeyed through the alternative Ibero-American music scene for 30 years. They have won three Latin Grammys and been nominated six times for the Grammy Awards.

Echeverri and Conector have written about Colombian history from a feminine perspective, lamented the country’s violence and committed themselves to a fairer and less violent future.

With 11 albums, Aterciopelados have broken stereotypes and created music with messages of female empowerment, environmental awareness and peace. In 2021, they released Tropiplop, a cry in defense of art, women and the planet that earned two Latin Grammy nominations.

Aterciopelados are commemorating the 28th anniversary of their album El Dorado with a major tour across Colombia, Latin America, the United States and Europe.

Andrea Echeverri y Conector han recorrido la escena de la música alterna iberoamericano durante 30 años. Aterciopelados ha ganado tres Grammys Latinos y ha sido nominado seis veces a los premios Grammy.

Echeverri y Conector han escrito sobre la historia de Colombia desde una perspectiva femenina, lamentando la violencia del país y se comprometieron a un futuro más justo y menos violento.

Con 11 álbumes, Aterciopelados ha roto estereotipos y ha creado música con temas de empoderamiento femenino, conciencia ambiental y paz. En el 2021 lanzaron Tropiplop, un grito en defensa del arte, la mujer y el planeta, que obtuvo dos nominaciones al Grammy Latino.
