This summer, bring your squad goals to the Adrienne Arsht Center’s musical-theater camp as we present #SQUADSOFBROADWAY. Musical-theater fans between the ages of 10 and 17 will learn to act, sing and dance while celebrating the music from some of Broadway's favorite besties, as seen in High School Musical, Mean Girls and West Side Story. Classes will be taught by South Florida-based choreographers, musicians and directors. No musical theater experience is required.
The camp will take place July 29 -August 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Arsht Center’s beautiful Knight Concert Hall. Lunch, snacks, two camp T-shirts, a water bottle and bag are included in the $350 registration. A $50 registration fee applies. Registrations that include more than one child receive a $50 “sibling discount”.
Camp attendees will showcase their #SQUADSOFBROADWAY numbers in a final performance on Friday, August 2 at 6 p.m. The performance will be free and open to the public.
Scholarship applications are now closed. Feel free to reach out to education@arshtcenter.org with any questions.
The registration deadline is Monday, June 3. Please note the registration fee is non-refundable.
